We are currently looking to fill a full-time Technical Support Specilaist (m/f/d) position at our Dortmund site.

Your mission

  • Responsibility for providing technical, cross-site support to field service colleagues at the second-level support stage, as well as ensuring the consistent implementation of the service escalation process
  • Regular coordination with Service Management to assess and track escalated service cases
  • Driving and implementing continuous improvements in service quality and efficiency in an international environment
  • Proactive initiative and commitment to the development of data-driven analysis instruments and tools
  • Defining, developing and delivering technical training
  • Responsibility for the availability, completeness and provision of service-related documentation and information
  • Collaboration on development projects with the aim of ensuring the smooth introduction of new products and technologies into global service and support
  • Supporting and, where necessary, leading projects

Your Qualifications

  • A university degree in engineering or a natural science subject
  • Several years’ experience working with ultra-high vacuum and/or high-voltage components in a cleanroom would be an advantage
  • Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills, both written and spoken, in German and English
  • Experience in data science, ideally in the field of statistical process control
  • Good IT skills, e.g. in Office applications, Linux, database management and analysis software
  • A confident individual who is motivated to continuously develop their technical and methodological skills.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional regional and international (including overseas) business travel
